Who We Are
Cedar Spring Farm is a 16 acre family owned and operated farm in Southbury, CT. We grow fresh seasonal produce and Christmas trees.
Our Story
Our family purchased the farm in 2021, during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic. With the uncertainty of the pandemic and rising costs of food we realized that buying quality organic produce was becoming a challenge for our family. We decided to expand the farm from being solely a tree farm. We began growing much of our own produce in the summer months.
In 2023 our passion grew and we realized the potential to open up our fields for the larger community. We decided to expand our growing to include a large plot of sweet corn and opened our curbside veggie stand. Winter 2023 was the first season we opened the farm for holiday tree sales.

Gregg Sr. & Betsy
Gregg is the owner/operator of the farm alongside his father Gregg Sr. He is passionate about serving his community. As a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and a lifelong learner, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our operations. When not in his day job in insurance, he enjoys visiting national parks, travel and spending time with his family.

Gregg & Betsy purchased the farm in 2021, relocating from Newtown. Gregg Sr. is owner of the farm business alongside his son, Gregg Jr.
Betsy assists with farm logistics and operations. Betsy runs and maintains a top-rated and on-location AirBnB. A timber-built, 2-floor 1 BR cottage will full kitchen, laundry and parking. Available year

Priya is responsible for all things media, tech and marketing. She manages the farm website, social media and builds relationships with the community. In leisure, she enjoys spending time in nature with her husband Gregg Jr., children, Miles and Forrest and their dogs Remy & Pepper .
